there are no more pictures from 2008 or Prague or music from college
my documents are still there but those were backed up
everything downloaded is gone and all my pictures are gone and videos.

but you have many photos on facebook, and your blog, and you have a lot of music on mp3 player? and could maybe use a shareware dump program to put it back on your hard drive? that's insane.

sigh...
most of what was on my harddrive wasn't backed up anywhere -- the majority of the backed up stuff is from Prague, on my blog and YouTube, and my favorite music, of which 30gb is on my iTouch
but most or all of my pictures and videos from 2008 and 2007 and fully 50gb of music, as well as all my TV video and cartoon series video is gone. Also several of my downloaded films are gone.
All in all, something like five years of downloading music and three years of taking pictures is mostly gone
sigh....
