Still no time

Chris left today for a two week return to home, the United States, that will see him returning on Dec. 29.

By then, I will be living in a new flat, I think, although I agreed to pay half rent for the next month given that I told him on such notice, etc.

I am working tomorrow, Thursday and Sunday evenings at The Globe, and also Saturday morning.

I emailed my boss at the preschool telling her that I was quitting after Friday; I've heard nothing back yet.

Friday afternoon, after I take my leave of my preschool for the last (until I return to pick up payment) time, I will head over to Megan's school to play Santa Claus for her kids. I will even get paid for it! It should be awesome. I'llhaveasuit!

I may get hired to teach at a preschool starting in February that would pay me 22,000 crowns a month, compared to the 14,000 I am paid now. Also it would be closer. Also it would be brand new. Also I would get a bonus for each child enrolled after my hire. Also the owners are really nice.

I stole a ream of lined notebook paper from Tesco today because they didn't have the kind I wanted on sale and I found a thing of paper free-floating with no price tag so I put it in my notebook and now I have it.

Matt leaves for real on Wednesday. Unless we miss the flight again. Last Wednesday we missed his flight. His mom had to wrestle with American Airlines to get another flight for $100 scheduled a week hence.

I can use my iPod Touch to control the mouse on my laptop and also control the iTunes libraries of any computer within WiFi range. It is insidiously fun.

I still haven't been to Kutná Hora yet.

I just drank a half liter bottle of Kozel dark lager, to go along with my tortellini. Mmmmmm.
