Guess whz?
I am at The Prague Post office right now helping finalize the copy for their sports stats section, because I'm officially freelancing for them now in that capacity. I spent all last night scouring Google for eurohockey stats, Gambrinus liga scores and Mattoni NBL rankings. I don't know what that means, but hopefully our readers will.
Megan's package from her mom came today, so hopefully mine won't be too far behind, although her mom did send hers after mine was sent. Hopefully there's no mix-up at customs. That'd be a drag.
In other news, my boss chewed me out at work for coming in with what she certainly believed was a mentally stunted lesson plan for my four year olds. The idea -- adhering to the theme of leaves -- would have found my kids coloring in outlines of oak and maple leafs to then use as tiles in a game of tic-tac-toe. I figured, hey, not too challenging, and the kids would have something to bring home with them to show their parents.
Apparently not. Marketa, once I think she had listened to enough of my explanation of the concept to feel that she understood it, dismissed the entier idea with a sarcastic "Mind blowing!" before telling me how I should have done it correctly. What a damn jerk. On the flipside, it turns out my co-worker Anička knows who Tom Waits is, so...that's cool.
I am having more trouble than I predicted ferreting out game times for the men's basketball games next weekend, so I'm going to go crack down on it. That's a euphemism for "try."
AWHOUT.
